Produced in 1986 for a Bahrain-based collector. The stamps were based on the long-running Sudan Camel Postman and was litho printed in sheets of 30 * 1 Piastre values. Variants were center inverted (frame upright), center and frame inverted, no rider, no rider or camel and darker sky and sand.
The stamps were redesigned in 2015. The revised stamps are ink-jet printed by the El Fantasma Ghoria Printing Company and in two values, 1 and 2 Annas. I do not have any of the original 1986 stamps, but I have some of the 2015 stamps. Examples are shown below.
A variants of the 2015 stamps are known printed on laser printer. These can easily be identified by the much richer and darker colours. Color trials in Blue, Red and Brown are also known imperforate on thicker paper.
